Suggestions for an exhaust fabricator near uptown Mpls?

With any luck, my new 327 is going into the blue beast this weekend. Since the current exhaust is an ancient single, I am looking for someone to put together a "manifold-back" system that doesn't break the bank. Does anyone haVe experience with a shop that they can recommend?
Thanks
John

The only exhaust I've had built was at Dave's Auto Service on Payne Ave. in St. Paul. He's fast, cheap ($250 for most duals) but a bit of a hack in that he uses generic weld on hangers, which I don't care for. I usually order a system and install myself. Gardner is the choice of restoration professionals because of their accuracy in duplicating original systems. The fit is excellent but the cost is a bit high compared to others. Pypes has manifold back systems as well as a few other brand names I can't recall right now.

Pats has done a couple for me, including my Chevelle, and is our go-to for cheapo fixes at work too. He typically has a couple older cars a week in there plus all the regular stuff. Fair pricing too.

Pat's did the exhaust from the headers back for me last year. I thought the price was good. I asked around and his name came up 3 times so I gave it a shot. I am happy with the work.

Thanks guys. The consensus looks like Pat's. As it turns out, I did the disc brake conversion and the PST front-end rebuild this weekend instead of the engine swap. Now hoping the heart transplant can take place next weekend.

Wouldn't hurt to call and see how far out he is booked for getting you in. Now that the rush for BTTF and CC is over, it may not be a long wait, but 2 weeks is not unusual for a popular, busy shop.
