I'm loading up the truck and trailer now with a lot of pre-war Ford stuff I don't need.

I haven't decided. Depends on the weather too. I was there from 4:30 am until 7 pm yesterday and should go back to get a couple goodies I didn't buy on Friday.
I won't be selling.

Chris -- did you check with the place in the grandstand to see if they are making LED tail lights for 66s yet? I did get his card last year and have looked on their website a couple of times during the last year with no good news. I wonder how they decide for which cars they'll make them up?

Yup. The guy says 66, 70 and 71-72 are still in development and are in testing stages now but he has been saying that for two years now. He is aware of the high demand though. I dont think he is the one building these (big supprise), I remember last year there was a tent a vendor has up near the north end of the show that has a bunch of lights set up in his booth, I looked at one of the lens closely and it is a near spot on match for the guy in the grandstand (rodworx), as the lens are different then a repro lens. Intrestingly enough, the vendor in the tent doesnt have lights for the same models that rodworx is missing, so there must be a common source, likely overseas, but the kits for the 67 and 68's look pretty well done. The Rodworx guy said to me one year I talked to him that some of the models they have were made because a perticular employee may have had a car and wanted a set of lights for himself. I dont know how true that is but it makes sense.

I went yesterday, Spent 3 hours in the swap area, then 3 for the rest of the whole show. Somehow missed Derek as I was walking through?

I was probably busy answering questions about the Midget on the trailer.

Ran into both Derek and his brother right next to each other. Seen a very nice 55 210 sedan for sale in the swap for just over 15K, very nice car for the price. Another guy had a decent 36 Ford coupe for sale that the floors were shot in the the rest of the car looked workable for something that was 70 years old, advertised at less then 7K. He also had another 37 coupe and 40 coupe for the same price range but he only had the 36 there. There was also a nice 62 or 63 Impala SS for mid teens as well that looked like quite the fair price.

Saw Derek and Carl too and got some small parts from him.
Found a set of bumper mounted motorcycle carriers. Plan is to use it to haul my (some day to be restored) 1964 Honda CT200 (trail 90)
the show overall was a great time.
Who's going?
