Wow. Looks like an episode of American Pickers. I'm guessing they got first shot at someone's estate stuff, and now are flipping it for more $$.

No kidding "American Pickers"... Some of the signs & vintage service gear are cool, the metalworking lathe(s) are probably better than what's made now (if the bed isn't tweaked or the slides too rusted), but the rest looks like a lot of junk/crap.

I see a '65 Chevelle taillight lens in picture #11.
Might find the rest of the car if you look hard enough.

I saw that too and was wondering if anymore of the car was there. Mostly Ford parts from what I see. I'm betting it is some old guys lifetime collection of "stuff" and the family is now getting rid of it.
I was thinking the lathe might be handy too, John. I wonder what they think it's worth ??

I dunno about the lathe... $$$ wise - haven't been in the market 'cause I don't have room!
It looks like a box of feed-screw gears (thread cutting) under the chuck (4-jaw), and a different tail-stock (maybe boring bar?), but no tool post on the cross-slide. It would depend on how much tooling/accessories there is for it. That stuff will kill you ($$$$) either purchasing new or trying to find obsolete.

If anyone's looking, we have a cash register like the one shown in the pics (left side) at work that we used for years. Looking to get lunch money for the crew.

Im pretty sure there one of the other techs at my work is connected to this sale but I forgot how. I believe he is a relative of the family. They have or had, an auction with some other nice shop equipment (nice name brand snap on blast cabinet, some hoists, tools, etc) and a few nice classic car and trucks they were getting rid of too.
