He is wrong, however on the bonded title. Someone can come back from a stint in the Merchant Marines and claim ownership of your car. AFTER the 2.5 years if no one does, then the car is yours free and clear.

Really hate when people cut the dashes up now to stick in some crap stereo or the aftermarket digital garbage that is called correct fitting.

When I checked on it that is what the bond is for before the title is issued and no one claims the car. Then the bond company has to pay the person value of what the car was before the title was issued and the person keeps the car
