Bryan, didn't you have a rear '72 window for sale awhile ago? I don't remember if it was clear or tinted.

Sold already. Was another potential member. It went to the guy who bought the one we talked about here: http://northstarchevelles.activeboard.com/t55277629/project-car/ Sounds like it's a decent car. He said he hired Nate to come up and finish the main turbo work.

Not many 68's in the club.
Try calling;
Hot Rod Factory 20042 Polk St NE East Bethel, MN 55011 763-413-9333
They keep vintage glass when replacing with all new. Be worth a call to see what they have and cost.

How good of fenders do you need?
I have a pair that I could part with... One is off a '69 so the marker hole is in the wrong spot though. Neither are perfect but they're pretty solid. I haven't looked at them in a while but I think they were rust free but had some crude bodywork done on them in the past.
I also have an SS hood that had the bracing cut out of for air-cleaner clearance, and have an extra Malibu hood to salvage the bracing out of to fix the SS hood.
Might be a decent buy but I would need good pics of the backside before driving that far. I'm sure the seller is counting on a local to come look at them.
When I call people out of state about their craigslist ads, they are always surprised how I found it...

Chris and Mitch -- What do you use for your search when you cast a "wide net"?

I use www.claz.org. You can set up your distance away, and as a favorite that will send you emails if there are new items. I have mine set up with the search word of 'chevelle', and get a hit every day. Most of the items are in the MN, SD, and IA region as I think I have my filter set at 'withing 250 miles'.

I would buy original fenders that need some work over repro's that don't fit well or have the correct body lines any day.
Oshkosh is only 4.5 hours away for a good deal on parts. 10-11 hour round trip. Piece of cake...
Ron, I use www.searchtempest.com quite a bit. Like Stan's, you can set search parameters and distance.

I used to use Searchtempest all the time but the suits at Craigslist have made it so difficult for these type of craigslist search engines that its not as convienent to deal with anymore. Now I usually just pick a few cities in the nearby states and even further if im bored and just click on nearby areas on the right pane. I might start with Madison, or Green Bay or Des Moines or Souix Falls and then click on more local cities from there. I usually am willing to go out as far as Chicago and Omaha as well. Most cities take barely a few minutes to go through so its not much of a time waster. I also like to surf southern cities in states like AZ, TX, CA, NM, etc. Its pretty neat to see the stuff that's for sale down there too.

Thanks for the info on "casting a wide net" searches. I had never heard of either of those sites. I'll bookmark them in a "Search" folder in case I have use for them in the future.

I like how the ad shows they are in the lake....
