Went from this set that I've had for over 15 years and has been used on every Chevelle we've owned... yes ALL 6 of them!

I'm not even close to the Dashboard level of tool ownership (You know what I mean Kevin ), but figured it was time to pop for some new ones to replace some of the missing sockets and wrenches that have disappeared in various Chevelle locations (dropped inside the frame... between control arms and suspension parts... etc. )

Looks like a good travel set except there aren't enough wrenches. I have a set similar to yours that I got at Northern a couple years back for the same price in a metal box. Only 5 sae wrenches in that too.

Nice set Stan, I can't remember how many times I busted your chops over that old set. I think you should pass the old set down to your son, you know keep it in the family, who knows someday your grandson or daughter may use it.

Most of my hand tools are craftsman, I like the free replacement, but they just closed my local Sears in Rochester.

I'm feeling a little embarrassed here... you've accomplished a lot more on your cars in the last few years than I have, and you've done it with a tool set that's less than half the size of the set I got from Santa Claus when I was 13 years old?

That's the cool thing about cars of this generation. Most of them can be worked on with just basic hand tools and free rental tools from O'Reilly's when needed.
It's o.k. Derek, just think what I could get accomplished if I had more tools and less CADD (Chevelle Attention Deficit Disorder)!
