I'm actually only doing the shifter and then making my own console, but the one in those pictures I linked to is for a 4 speed auto. 67SS found him a while ago and i was lusting over his version of the horseshoe shifter. He will start making mine shortly. Do some searching of kilduff, these things are tough and I think they're cool.
My other option was going to be a dual gate shifter, but this won out.

That thing looks beefy! I love his sales pitch.. "Let's do it again... because it's fun!".
That should be fun and addictive at the same time!

look for the video where he shifts it with a baseball bat.......
no buttons, no triggers, just rowing.
I went with the short one since my tape measure stand-in seemed a little tall. The tops or the levers straight up would be taller than the base of my steering wheel. The shorty is the same thing, but the levers are 3" shorter.
He's got some cool shifters, I contemplated the "stick shifter" model, but it just didn't seem right.
Tonight I should be able to get the AC delete cover in and some garage clean-up done.

It started with selling off my factory shifter and console to another member at the Bowtie Brunch....
I just ordered the main piece this afternoon.
The only hint I'll share right now is that I've been looking at lots of shifter balls.
Maybe more like HI...
Nope, no extra pedals involved.
Manual valve body for the 700r4 with 5 separate levers to control it....
Along with Mitch's line of thought.... a Hurst Lightning Rod shifter?
