Wow somebody must really need money bad to take that kind of loss.

I thought that too, but he is willing to trade for a non-project car?

That's what it takes to move a white elephant. There are few people willing to take on a project of that magnitude. At the price, someone with money could afford to pay to have it finished but it would still be high dollar.
What do you think the motor and trans would sell for ?

72 Chevelle with a 70 front end. Built 6 liter LS motor with a single turbo and 4l80e. Guy claimed it was built for 750hp at the wheels. Body work was done and it was in primer. Motor looked to be mounted and turbo was partially plumbed. Full aftermarket interior included along with a new vinyl top in boxes, new SS dash and VTX gauges. Guy had receipts for $45,000, which i believe because it looked well done. Needed paint, a driveshaft, windshield and to be assembled. Asking $13,000 or trade for a complete car.

It is this car. He does very nice work. I think Derek knows Nate.
So he bought it as an abandoned project and now dumped it too...

I've seen his Nova, it is really nice. He must have gotten into the project cheap. The way the ad read it made you think one person had been working on it start to finish, looks like Nate got it somewhere in between.

From the little I got from a friend it was brought to nate by who ever owns it. Nate did all the engine driveline mocking and such and than it went to paint and it has been in paint jail. Not sure why the owner is now bailing out on it though.
Oh if I only had some cash and room to work. Lot's of money in parts here, and it would be an awesome car when it was done.
