Do you wind it up to make it go or is it one of those you just pull back on it and release?

The little one should fit upstairs. Line it up with the pedal tractors?

Miatas don't do stairs... need a MINI Cooper for that.
The car is actually quite rare, and somewhat collectible. It's a '94 "R-Package" which is the factory race version with upgraded suspension, Bilstein shocks, lightweight wheels, Torsen differential, and very few other options. (although this is an R with air conditioning, which is even more rare). It's the first year of the R-package, and one of ~1200 built.

You are getting old if you're going to autocross with the A/C on....
Cool little car, wish it had been there on Sat to see it.
As for stacking, I've been doing that for 6 years...

If I ever get good enough for it to matter, pulling the A/C and installing a heat-only box will save 30lbs. :)
As long as I'm still whole seconds slow, I won't worry about 30lbs though.

Easy solution . . .
Buy one or two more lifts.

Ok, I'm not goofy ... there were only 2 black cars near/in the garages (and those were pushing 100 years old). This little guy showed up on Sunday.
I remember you talking about a "grand plan" involving a Miata for when Cale & AJ get to (legal) driving age, but don't you think this is a little premature??

I had been thinking about getting an "SCCA competitive" car for a couple years, and was just waiting for the right deal (cheap) on the right car to come along. The Chevelle is fun to autocross, but there's nobody out there competing in equal equipment to gauge myself as a driver... I can also afford to replace this one a whole lot easier if I wad it up on a roadcourse. :)

That's o.k. JD, I like the other plan to have them help on rebuilding the '69 SS in the corner as a father and son's project when they become teenagers!
Derek, that's a cool find. I'm sure it will optimize your driving skills against the competition.
Garage gets more full every time I look in there.
Just prop that little black one on end. Tadda!
