Bruce, it's everything from 'normal' folks and cars to those that like to dress the part and spookify their vehicles. It's all good.

Yeah, normal people are the "norm", but kids are welcome to dress up, go trick-or-treating from car to car. I know several 'Steiner members make special stickers just to put on store-bought suckers and dress up thier cars. Fun show anyway. They have pipe rapping, flame throwing, costume contest, etc. The 'Steiners are usually there in full force too, and they do an excellent job staffing and running the show.

oh yeah, get there early too. I was thinking we could do a meet-up at my place before the show, leaving at 8am sharp. I'm just a couple miles away.

It's true we're kind of a above average group but we try to be humble so we can relate to the average 4-headlight person.

About 3. It covers the entire Anoka fairgrounds, similar to how the '50s covers all of those fairgrounds.

That should work Bryan. Worst case, we can post someone there to direct people to where we are parked.
Also forgot to add that lunch will NOT be provided by the club in case anyone was planning on that.

Since we need to find Stan's car for the meeting it hopefully a bit smaller and little easier to cover the whole show to track him down for the 1:00 meeting
Stan, Any thoughts on a general area you plan to locate, or is it small enough not to be a concern?

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
The meeting is now at 10 A.M. Sunday because of the cold weather so that people don't have to stand in the cold until the afternoon, and there is a good chance the meeting will be cancelled anyway as now the weather looks like 40's and 60% of rain!
We will post on this thread by Noon on Saturday if the meeting is cancelled due to weather. Stay tuned.

If the meeting is at 10.00 am, a Noon notification is a bit late. Did you mean 8.00 am ??

MEETING CANCELLED
The weather car show gods have left for the winter... Forecast for Anoka tomorrow is now showing 46 degrees, 50% of rain, and 14 mph winds. Not fun.
Don't forget about the Nov. meeting 'inside' at the Tin Shed in Savage on Sat., Nov. 16th for the officer elections.
