Happens to be on one of those days when we have a hundred places to be including a baseball alumni party from the college I coached at which happens to be at my house. As some of you guys might have noticed, I had a great time last year on the range and was hopeing we would have something similar this year. But I am out at least for now.

Looks like I should be able to make this. With the '38 getting all the love this year, the Chevelle hasn't seen the road much. Maybe I will get it off the trailer for this.
I'll bring my self defense tool and see if I can get it dialed in.

You may need to kill the fatted calf... 3 weeks on dorm food. I'm sure he's looking forward to some "home cooking" and treats!!

Shannan and I were looking forward to seeing everyone and putting a few rounds through a few recent acquisitions but we will not be making it after all. See you at the fall cruise October 5th.

Thanks Derek and Jenna for hosting the Sept. meeting! The food was great, and it was nice to catch up with everyone and for everyone to kill the dirt pile again this year!
It was a light turnout, but a beautiful afternoon, and fun was had by all!

Found a new gun to shoot next year at Derek and Jenna's place. May need to stand back by the deck and do a little improvement on the backstop.
Once again- an awesome event! We sure head a great time and it seemed like everyone else did, too. Good food, great shooting! Thanks again to Derek & Jenna for being awesome hosts.

Thanks Derek & Jenna for hosting and thanks to everyone who let me borrow your guns and burn through your ammo. Found myself looking at gunbroker today. I can see guns are as addicting as cars.

Yes, but they take up a lot less space.
Thanks everyone for coming, we had a great time!

Just put the black one upstairs with the other peddle cars…….just kidding, nice car. Do you have the hard top for it?
I’ll bet Steve could make an LS engine fit in there or maybe a 3.8 V6 turbo.

Big thanks to Derek and a special thanks to Jenna for being a special woman to put up with all the boys and their noisy toys again...

A big thanks to Derek & Jenna (and their neighbors!) for a great afternoon!
A few more pics.
Mitch wasn't the only "retiree/senior citizen" at the event - these guys are pushing 100yrs!
Simplicity defined
40 to 50 years of development later
The T's weren't the only "old-timer-iron" showing their stuff - M1 Garand
Some of the calibers sent downrange - .22, .380, 9mm, .40, 10mm, .45, and a LOT of 12ga.
Sheryl D showing her "artistic form" on the clay launcher...
If this was taken a millisecond later, it would've caught the clay being DUSTED. (Sheryl's 1st time shooting trap)
As you can see from the pics we had a PERFECT day for outdoors!
(Dan W... don't feel too bad, I may need to get a shotgun for Sheryl. She's hooked on trap!)
