Nice catching up with you too Frank. I figured you would be in the same spot this year so I checked and there you were, made it a point to stop and say hello. Hadnt talked to you in a while, probably around last years Back to the 50's show.

Yes, I was parked up Underwood at Randall. I was only there Friday. Sat I stayed home and cleaned up the mess from the storm...
I was there for about an hour today to pick up an English wheel I bought in the grandstand.

I ran into 4 clubmembers the two days I was there. I saw Mitch's coupe but not Mitch. I hoped to run into Brad and his 57 but it's been awhile since he's posted any updates so maybe it wasn't to that stage . Anyone talk to him lately?

I actually ran into new club member Tim from down in Albert Lea and we ended up walking around the rest of the day. Frank and Tim were the only 2 I ran into the entire weekend. I did keep an eye out for Brad as well to see if he had the 57 out there but didnt see him or the car and was thinking the same thing OscarZ mentioned. I still need to get to his place and pick up that wheelright tool. I check out the progress then I guess.

I was there all three days but didn't run into any club members. Maybe they were all avoiding me?

Did anyone get anything good out of the swap meet this year. I could have walked out with several column shift tilts had that been what I was in the market for. Prices were all pretty fair for a column shift tilt.
Best deal IMO was the guy selling a complete tri-five chassis with good running 454/TH400 and 9 inch for 2,500. Frame was in very nice shape. Guy said there wasnt any problems with rust or anything, owner purchased one of those fully loaded Roadster Shop chassis for his car.

i got a mirror for $3 because it looked about the right size and it was so cheap.
It was dirty but that is a easy fix. It turns out to be the exact same size as the 71 mirror and except it has a black trim.
i think it as a great find and can now actually see what is behind me.

I didn't really look thru the swap but met a guy from Owatonna to get 2 full quarters for my Camaro. I also bought the display model Woodward Fab English wheel in the grandstand...
Bruce, where did you hide your car ?? I didn't see it...

I noticed Ididit and Flaming River finally got with the program and started making thier direct fit columns with splined output shafts so they will fit with factory steering shafts instead of the only way they both used to come. A DD style shaft that required those ugly universal joints on each end. Now no more paying outrageous prices for a used GM column when a brand new better then OEM column can be had for the same price.
