Any interest in being the club of the night on August 2nd ?? I will co-ordinate with the History Cruzers if we can get 5-8 people to attend. As of now, the date is open on their calendar. I will need to call them and confirm the availability.

Mitch, I don't want to discourage anyone from getting together as a group and grabbing the spot, but we've discussed at the last 3 meetings that we are not doing this as a club this year due to the following:
1. Getting to the parking lot before 5 p.m. is tough for those that work that Friday
2. With the bad vendor experience last year (greasy cars from the brat vendor), we decided to give it a break this year
Having said that, don't let that stop you from lining something up if there is enough interest.
I would also be curious if someone could talk to the Hastings Chamber Sat. when you are there, and see if there are any open nights for club of the night this summer? That would be another option, and the timing (Sat. afternoon) is better for people, and the parking is much larger to fit more than 13 cars.
Thanks.

I just sent an inquiry about Club of the Night to the Hastings committee member who handles that.
As for NSP and people with real jobs.....half day of vacation...
I forgot about the grease problem. I will bring that up to the Cruzers. I could take the spot nearest the vendor and come home with a shiny car...
