Everybody is out. GM quit producing and the after market vendor isn't in production yet, hence the problem.

Did John send you down the path to talk to the speedo shop about making an adaptor that goes between the speedo cable and the trans?
I ended up having to do that with mine. It runs about $100.

When I was going 'round & 'round trying to get my speedo correct after the 4L60 conversion, my best luck was to have a "wrong" speedo gear in the glovebox. I'd be all over town on service calls and see a tranny shop and stop in. Usually they've got a drawer full of them, and are willing to swap, or swap & a few bucks. The small private shops are your best bet.
However I was looking for the "driven" gear, not the drive gear, so it was much easier...

Called them today and they are charging 195.00 dollars now for a adapter to be made.
