I bought a lift a couple of weeks ago and just can't figure it out. I got the car on it but can't seem to get the car off the ground the 6 feet the manufacturer says it will go.
For those of us who don't know, where will this car be raced? Are you the driver? Are the NACA ducts for cooling the front brakes? Is the chassis new? Is that a FiveStar body?
I'm aware that you may not want to answer all these questions on an open forum . . .

The plan would be Elko and possibly Shakopee Raceway Park although that is closing next year.
My son is the driver, I'm a NASCAR Card Carrying Member but not going to drive.
The ducts on the side will be used to cool the tranny cooler and driver
The chassis was built a few years ago but we cut it all off moved it back a bit added cross bars and transfer bars.
The body is by Jorgenson Brothers in Minnesota, nose and tail are 5 Star
It is a Monte Carlo (Mitch's question)
But... as of an hour ago it may get shelved for this year since my son put an offer in on a old farm house with some land and the offer was accepted. As we all know houses are money pits and his dad isn't going to be a racecar sponsor for more than a few grand so we'll see.

I think that is a good idea. I'll have to have the guy from Stan's MAACO go over Mitch's 70 with his pen first though to see how much work it will need. Then we can talk about the value of the IOU.
How's that sound Stan?

Silly rabbit... just punch a hole in the ceiling and it will go higher!
