The owner took in a drip rail job on a stretch limo last week for me.......geeee thanks, Dave !!
Left side rail is mostly gone.
I've already fabricated 2 sections and welded them on the right side.
Getting the front section prepped for welding. Cut off the remaining rail, blew a bunch of holes in the replacement panel with the plasma for plug welding and sprayed everything with weld-thru primer.
After welding and grinding.
Starting on the left side. I couldn't believe a major limo conversion company would do this kind of work, but I guess once the padded vinyl top is put on, no one knows what's underneath it. Yes, that's bondo 1/4" thick !!
4 foot long center section replacement.
