I know I've been in the house most of the last few days. Just went out to clear the driveway and walk of the overnight fluff. The temp isn't too bad today. Never went in the shop this week. It takes a lot of heat to warm it up to a comfortable temp and I'm stuck doing business taxes anyway. NEXT week I'm gonna hit the GTO hard....
I know, I've been saying that for 2 months now....

In the cave today working on the 'daish' as some people tell me as I say it with my Nebraska accent. And I always thought Minnesotan's had the accent! Just joshin' with my MN friends. I'll post updates later.
Hope to make floor progress tomorrow.

Finially got over the flu enough to go out in the garage today. Had to finish doing a distributor and water pump on a 96 caprice with the LT-1. Man those motors are a design nightmare (no offense John D).

Sorry to hear you had the flu, Chris. It sounds like it's a rough one this year. I've been lucky and only felt a little under the weather around Christmas.

My kid brings all this crap home from day care. I've been sick more times than I can count this year it is getting real old fast.

I've been busy quitting my old job (50 - 70 hours a week 6 and 7 days a week at times)
starting a new job (40 hours a week with Fridays off), helping my parents finish the basement on their new house, getting the ice fishing house out, waiting for a little warmer weather so I can get moving on Stan's floors and other parts. I am looking forward to cutting more of the car a part and then getting it back together.
Went to a wedding last night for the guy who works for/with me on painting cars. He wants to get back to doing some more cars. We are going to meet on Friday and talk about the possibility of doing that. I need to get on my 70 this spring and get it wrapped up. It's just been a real busy fall and winter.

Was on a cruise the week before last, came home and got sick about Wednesday. Make it through the week OK, but it really started hitting me yesterday. Slept 11 hours last night (normally get 6-7) and went to Emilys first basketball game. Almost slept through lunch at Perkins (took most of it home), and hit the downstairs couch for 3 hours of coma. Watched Eddie and the Cruisers, then part of a Styx concert off and on between napping. Had to skip out on something cool tonight I wanted to do too, but I don't want to pass this on.

Just wrapped up the big vintage sled meet and the Charity auction last weekend... Now trying to wrap my head around pulse signals from an internal rotor two cycle engine lighting coil and how to duplicate them for testing tachometers... Its a laugh a minute

A quick search/refresher seemed to indicate that 2 stroke tachs are driven from an AC pulse off the stator/charging system. Beyond my fab/circuit design build capabilities to make one up. I'd dig a little into marine sources for tachs on 2 strokes, or marine instrument mfgs.
