My Viper isn't stupid fast. How would a Chevelle with a Viper engine weighing 500 lbs more than a Viper be stupid fast?

There was a guy on team Chevelle that was putting in a V 10 out of a Viper. And into a 70 Chevelle. But I haven't seen anything for a long time on this project. Has anyone else heard or seen this ?

Hey keith: Look again at that car. He's got twinn turbo's on it and its a V 10 ? if you can do 190 in a mile ! What do you think he's going to be able to do? HUH huh ? So I take it 190 mph isn't fast to you ? Most of us have never been in a car that went that fast. Guess your never late for work then . yeah Big guy I think he's going to be stupied fast . Or maybe crazy fast is that better. R T
First of all, you didn't mention twin turbos. Kind of an important piece to the puzzle. Even so, I stand by my statement that this vehicle will not be stupid fast. I'm not going to read all 19 pages but in the first page he alludes to a 700 hp limit. At that power level, it has the potential to be silly fast. But I predict it won't even reach the silly fast bracket. You're talking about a 4000 lb rear wheel drive brick. And he better baby that T56.
What do I think it will run in the standing mile with 700 hp?? 170 tops. It's not all about the power my friend.
FYI...this is stupid fast:

Later in the thread he's talking about 1000hp with 2 turbos and intercoolers.
That is "stupid fast" to a guy who drives a FWD Monte Carlo.
(not that I should razz Rick, his car is faster than anything of mine that currently runs... )
I'm thinking you just don;t like the way I put it saying stupied fast.
You write it anyway you like. I have absolutely no problem with that.
The bar has been set quite high for "stupid fast" in my opinion. See the link to the video in my previous post. Unfortunately, I will never know what it's like to own a stupid fast car. Probably will never get a ride in one either.
Did that guy with the white 70, 71, or 72 with the twin turbo LS engine ever run the standing mile? Didn't it have around 1000 hp?

It's all about one's perspective right? LOL
Well, I guess we'll find out if it's stupid fast IF and when he ever gets it to the track.

NO Keith he hasn't finished the car yet its been an on going build. Not sure how many yrs he's into it. Derek might know the answer to that question.Keith if you click on the link that derek posted you can see the car. As far as I know I think it's just a rolling chassis.

It's a '67 Chevelle.
Looks like his last update was in July.
