Tooks some pictures at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals on Saturday in Chicago. Well worth the trip to see hundreds of rare cars you won't see anywhere else. Below are the highlights, all of the pictures are here: MCACN
8 Transam verts were made in 1969, 6 of them were a the show
If you ever see a real Yenko, it's pretty cool, they had 55 of them
Since it was their 40th anniversary the class of '72 was featured so they had several of the attractive two headlight cars.
Linda Vaughn insisted on getting Dereks autograph and taking a picture with him.

Great pictures Steve!
What an amazing show! Just unbelievable how many super-rare cars were there.
Definitely worth the 5.5 hours each way.

I just looked through all of the pictures... spotted a red Shelby Cobra.
I didn't even notice that car while at the show, and only remembered the black one.
Takes a hell of a show to completely miss an original Shelby Cobra.
I wonder how long I'll be desensitized to Yenkos now???

I know, I don't remember looking it over either. When I got home and looked through the pictures I was disappointed at all the cars I didn't get a picture of.

Way cool seeing all the legends that we hear about together in one room. There were some major $$ sitting there in that building!

Been on my bucket list for awhile now. Some reason or another, always a real busy weekend. Already told Cathy that I was going next year!

There's a thread on Team Chevelle where people are posting links to their pictures, if you have time go through them, there are lots of cars I missed.
As I was looking through the pictures taken by 72convertibless454 I came across this one. How many times did you go through Linda's line Derek?

What's crazy about this (from what I've heard/read about her) that she's got this steel-trap memory, in 5 years you could run into her again and she'll recall when & where you met!

Oh, that could be REALLY dangerous for someone who was a "playmate" in the past....
Are those DVD's on the table of her "best" work...
