All,
I am putting in a vintage air system. One of the tasks is to crimp hose ends on the a\c hoses. Does any one have one of those tool or know where to get this done cheap?

DAS in Hopkins does this sort of thing and its not that bad price wise. Make the hoses the length you want and have them crimp on the ends.

If you have a local Car Quest, check with them. The one by me makes hoses and has a crimper.

Doesn't Pushrod have a set?

My local NAPA did mine, but I'm not sure if they all do. They have a press for making Hydraulic hoses. I just made sure I marked the direction of the 90* fittings before I took them in.

I wonder if Pirtek mobile hose service would be able to do it for you?
We have a Hydra-Crimp tool thing here at work. Don't know how to use it, might have to learn for (if) I ever get mine hooked up. I would definately look at Pirtek. Maybe Ian also has access to that tool? Might be the same thing as hydraulic hose ends.

Thanks all. Will start calling Car Quest and Napa's to chase this down.

Yep, Pushrod has a set. Now getting a hold of him/them is the challenge!
