Derek, I remember reading about that gathering on Team Chevelle. It was around that time that I was looking another '70 to build into the car I had sold so many years before. I have had the '70 for 9 years now and, sad to say, it STILL has not been on the street.

Hard to believe it's been 10 years already. How many of those pictured are still in the club??

Chad, Loren, Tom, and I are continuing the tradition with the drive to Duluth this weekend. It was a fun drive up yesterday (even with a few spits of that cold stuff in the air...), and actually some of the colors were still pretty good. I'll post pics off the camera tomorrow when we get home.
I'll say it again... too bad more people didn't do this. It's been a great time so far! Maybe more will do it next year.
I'll be up for it when I have a running Chevelle again.

I just think about how many GREAT PEOPLE that I've been fortunate enough to meet over the last 10 years, be able to call them my friends, and share a lot of good times with!!... all because of this Club.

Sure was glad I "googled" chevelle clubs 9 years ago! Also that the guys welcomed the first woman member! This club will keep on going for many years...

Pretty incredible, isn't it? I can't believe how many great people from this club have become close personal friends, and have helped me out in ways I never imagined... in fact, yesterday one NCC member was over helping me with some wiring for lighting in my garage. (I should say I was helping him... he knew what he was doing and did most of the work).

Boy ill tell you what. Whom ever painted stripes on Deans old LS6 seriously needs a good punch right in the mouth. When I found out someone did that to that car that move ranked as probably one of the most dumbassery things I have ever heard of being done to a car.
You might as well just go and deface the Mona Lisa IMO.
It's been a fun 10 years knowing you guys!!!
