Yes! I have a shooting range in my back yard if anyone want to use it.

Little short barrel guns, or little bullet long barrel guns (or both)??

We can safely do up to about 110 yards, so rifle or pistol will be fine. I also have a clay pigeon thrower so shotguns are welcome too. If you bring something really interesting, I reserve the right to try it out!
I would probably favor pistols, as the noise would then be further from the shop and yard. I do want it to be a social event with wives and kids welcome, so I don't want it to be entirely focused on shooting, but if anyone wants to get a little range time in before winter hits, it's there and available.
We could just play it by ear too... if 30 people show up and all want to shoot, we can shoot all day. If 25 want to socialize and 5 want to shoot, then maybe just do pistols for a short time. I'll leave it up to the group.

Planning on it. I can bring a few old toys to play with too. I got a couple 1890's .22 rifles from Dad's collection along with a Winchester 30-30 he bought new in 1949 and an undated bolt action .410. Still gotta go to Fleet Farm for cases and cheap ammo.
Like anything else in this state in Oct, it's weather dependant on the toys.

Derek thank you that was a great get together. Sorry had to leave so quick my wife let me know my son Kevin was having some issues, he is all better now. He sometimes gets a little over stimulated around a lot of people. He was doing real good then crash. I would like to thank Steve, Mitch and Darren for bringing and giving me the center caps and dash. The centers will come in handy on the Vette for some reason they get lost on spirited driving ; ) THANK YOU !!!!!! Had a great time and the food & people were excellent.

A big thank you to Derek & Jenna!! Had a GREAT time. The time spent looking for a place really paid off! The shop(s) are waaaayyyy cool, and the upstairs party room is the topper. Plenty of food, and as always a great bunch of people to hang around with.
I think Dan gets a new nickname... DeadEye Dan - 1st time with a pistol and he puts 5 of 6 in a 4-inch circle at 10 yards! (#6 was only 1/2" out!) "Logi-leadslinger" got a few on-target as well until his hands started stinging. Very proud of him - another 1st timer, listened & understood the instructions, and got rounds on target!

Thanks to everyone for coming out! It was a lot of fun, and I'm thinking this could be an annual event!
I was surprised how many people came, how many Chevelles and El Caminos were present, and how much hardware was brought out to the range.

I noticed in yesterdays meeting that the cars kind of took a back seat to the guns and camaraderie to hanging out with food and friends and just getting to know eachother, catching up with each other, or getting re-aqainted with one another. There really wasnt a lot of guys hanging out at the cars that much of the day. Maybe a few guys here and there but I may not have noticed as much I suppose. It looked like a ghost town on that side of the yard most of the time I looked.
Which proves that after 10 years, we have become more about friends and family and just hanging out together then just about the cars. And thats just fine by me.

Yeah, Stan didn't even take any pictures of them!
I think we had 11 Chevelles, and 3 Impalas parked in the front yard when the realtors were showing the house next door... turns out the guy looking at it is a Chevy guy, and came over to check out the cars. Not sure what he thought of WWIII going on in the back yard, but the cars probably made a good impression anyway.
Dad talked to him, and he has a '57 and another Chevy from the '60s (Dad couldn't remember what, other than it wasn't a Chevelle)
