Lower level lot is paved, then the next level goes to gravel. Will have to get there early so that we get a lower level paved spot.
I'm going to ask at the information table how we can get to be 'club of the night'. We will probably have to wait until next year though.

Tina and I are going to the Hastings cruise-in Saturday if anyone is interested in meeting up at the man cave, then cruise over to Hastings at 3 P.M.
Feel free to stop over between 1:30 and 3 p.m. if you want to go with us.
We'll try to park in the east end parking lot on main street down by the railroad tracks, if it's not taken by the club of the night. Leaving my place at 3 p.m. since it fills up downtown Hastings pretty fast.
PM me if you need my address.
This is the first Hastings we've been able to make this year!

I've been wanting to get back up to Hastings since we stopped after the cruise last year. I'll let you know Stan, I might try to make it up. Looks like the Northstar Camaro Club is club of the night too.

Hope you can make it Steve. I need to give a couple of things back to you.
Maybe Mitch or Gearlube will chime in... but if Northstar Camaro's are club of the night, the lot will be full and might be blocked off. Even more reason to get there earlier to get the lower level lot on concrete and not gravel.

Sounds good Steve.
Jon, as we discussed we may have to use the West end bank parking lot on main street as Plan B. Check it out if you come in that way.
Dashboard is going to try to make it too.

Are you thinking the Camaro club will fill the east lot paved area?

Yep, at least the south part of the lot. I went last year to Hastings when they were club of the night, and the south side of the lot was full of camaro's.

Does the host club of the night at Hastings have the same duties to help out like at NSP? Ive always wondered about that.

I don't think so. I've never seen anyone manning barricades in the cruise area. Mitch or Gearlube probably know from being part of NCC-Camaros.

Yes, "club of the night" man's the east gate and another where the food vendors are. We used to man the far West gate too, but they relieved us of that duty this year.

Wish I could have made it tonight. Never been to Hastings show and it's been a while since I've been to the Stancave.

Tim, there's lots of Hasting's left... I'm sure you will get over one of these Saturday's.
It was great seeing Kevin, Jon & Bonnie, Steve & Mona, Jim & Rachel, Chad & Logan, & Mitch!
It was a warm one, and the turnout was lighter than normal... but always good to go there. For some reason, saw lot's of Chevelles we'd never seen before. The cruise home with the top down was great and much cooler than sitting in downtown Hastings!

It was fun to see all the Chevelle people but it was HOT down there !! The Chevelle club should put in for club of the night there too. The lot is big enough for the Chevelle gathering but they cut the parking spaces in half this year and the Camaro group was left scattered all over. We won't be doing club of the night again unless they can get the whole lot back. We had people leave because there was nowhere to park.

I'm going to put our Event Coordinator on this one to look into us being club of the night sometime next year.
Mitch, I wondered about splitting the lot. When we pulled in at 3:15 or so, the north side of that lot was already full with a bunch of Fords and a couple of Chevy's since there weren't any cones there. I was also surprised that I didn't see anyone from NCC-Camaros show up until after 4 o'clock. I did see a couple of Gen 5's cruising around like they didn't know where to park too. Maybe they needed someone from the club to get there early and park to let the other Camaro's know where to go. And that was with a night that wasn't full.
You're right, with the normal turnout we get for club events, spaces for 10 cars would be enough (unfortunately....). Although, if it became as popular as No. St. Paul, we might need more spaces.
