I placed a bid; but didn't hit the confirm button in time or I might have bought it.
I contacted the seller and its still for sale. I wonder what it is worth? It has most all the AC parts I need other than brackets, pulleys and compressor.
Looks like the front clip is in good shape. Thinking I could recapture some of the initial cost. Thanks,

Yes buy it, take what you need and sell the rest to Mitch and Chris. Heck, it looks like it has $100 bucks worth of hub caps on it.
Or trade Mitch 66 parts for the use of his trailer and go pick it up.

In the negoiations stage. I have access to a trailer with load levelers, so thats not the problem. It's the drive, 585 miles and price.

Looks like about 75 gallons of gas, meals, and a night in a cheap hotel.
That way I would send him $100 hold it. After looking at it in person, I don't think it is worth the price and expenses , head back home.

I drove to Springfield MO about 6 years ago for a Camaro. I left at 10 pm on a Thursday night and was there at 10 am Friday. Camaro was trash and I turned around and came home. I was home again before midnight. No motel needed.... Still cost $400 for nothing, and took 6 months to get my $1200 deposit back from the dirtbag....

Yes 14x5 is exactly what I need for this hub cap. I only need two of them.

Kevin, I found a bunch of rims when I was out in SD pheasant hunting. looked though about 200 or so and found 9 for the 66 ss. There were lots of 14x5 rims. I am not sure what the backspace would be on the buick as opposed to the chevelle. Also I know there were some up at French Lake. I could look when I am out hunting this fall.
There is a company, somthing like vintigue, that make the correct style repo of the 65 rims for a buick with the 3 nubs and I think those caps; but you would have to check for sure. I think they are make for 10 1/8 caps, around $80 for primed and $130 for powder coated.
I don't think you need 14x5, just something with the correct diameter and 3 nubs, 14x6 would work or I even thing some 15" rim.
Goofy me. I thought those were dogs, you need 14" rims

It's in the "Forum Q&A / FAQ" section under General
I screwed up... had the wrong thing "linked"... I'll edit the "How to use Link Paste" directions and make it more user friendly.
