My 72 has a rattle, found it last night. My ebrake crossover cable is rubbing on the front u-joint/yoke. Didn't before until I used the shorter tranny mount. I want to see how they are supposed to look because I don't think mine is right, even though it hasn't been changed (one of the few things on this car).
My shop manual wasn't much help for lcoation, just procedure. It's an auto car if that made a difference.
thanks

The internet is full of "undercarraige" pics.

I'll take your word on that...
I bet those are greasy, grimy ones, probably well used and worn out. I know the guys here would have better pics to look at.

Mine is a stick, hope it helps. I had to lay the Elky on it's side to get the picture.

You should be very grateful Angie was available to lift that for you so you didn't hurt yourself!

Jon, What I found really amazing was that she was able to hold the Elky like that and take the pictures at the same time. I would have helped but I was worried I might spill my beer.

I'm just glad that Barbie didn't fall off the pole while all this was happening!

It’s been suggested that Barbie may not be appropriate for the forum; what do you think?

I think people on the forum put her there. Maybe we need a black bar across it?
