Will consider reasonable offers too. I would start at $1600 and see what he says. Gonna cost $150 to go get it.

Knoxville is in southern IA, so it would be a drive. I used to go watch the World of Outlaws race there every year. Doesn't sound like it comes with a transmission. It would be nice to know it the computer is programmed for an auto or 6 speed. You can reflash them, but if you wanted to run it stock it would be cheaper to have a computer that matched what you planned on using.

I didnt realize it was that far. The amount of gas spent to go get it for that price may make it a bit out of the typical price range in that case.

Mpls to Knoxville, round trip, is 562 miles. Figure 15 MPG with a pickup at $3.70/gallon for gas is $138.62 plus some food for the day trip and that's where I came up with the $150 to go get it. Deduct the $150 from whatever you think is a fair price and make that offer. He advertised all the way up here because he hasn't sold it locally so use that to an advantage.

Price is high for an early LS1.. I wouldn't pay more than $1200-1500 for it.
You would have to go to Iowa to get it but the price seems competitive.
