That looks darn close to the color Tim painted his '69, just a little faded.
I'm sure the body guys will chime in, but I think a more typical place to patch the new quarter is higher on the body line. Since it's a vert, the place they did it seems o.k. to me since the metal above the patch line is good.
Seems like a solid car other than the rust in the panels. The floorboards look good compared to the body panels. Might be a solid car. Seems a little high on price, but is a vert. My
I am diggin' the white interior with the blue paint though!

Looks like someone bought this and started to repair the rear quarters. Now he wants to sell. Is this how you fix rear quarters? Whats a reasonable price? Thanks,

Maybe a coupe quarter being used on a vert?

It was for sale earlier this spring. Didn't show the patch panels at that time. It's a vert, has factory air. Maybe never in an accident?
I would be a lot more interested at $7500.

You can see in his pics that he did cut out a large section of the rust. Replacing that much may not have been necessary but it doesn't hurt. What I think it looks like is that he overlapped the seams instead of flanging them or butt welding. It will take far more filler to blend an overlap and it's not the way I would do it.
Since it's Spring and the car is a convert, he will probably get 9k.

You would have to look at the repaired panels in person but if its done right and that was the majority of rust that was repaired and replaced. Thats not such a bad deal IMO. The fenders will need work but thats a given on 69's. Every single 69 used original fender I have ever seen always needed work in that area.

Jim, that's the number I had in mind. Cash talks, so it might be worth throwing it out there and see if he bites.
