Sure has been quiet lately, saw a 1st gen Camaro drive by the house today. Tempting, a lot of sand on the roads yet though.

I took the Mustang out for a romp today the weather was just too nice to resist the urge. As Mike would say, I beat on the Stang today but I think at least one GM guy was impressed.
Also, took a little spin in Gearlube’s Camaro, which got the heart thumping I'll let Gearlube explaine the GM Heartbeat part.
Many nice cars out today I think our roads are better down here Loren we missed that last big dump that you got.
On the way home I stopped by Stan’s, he may have set a record for the garage door opener. Second week of March and he was working with the big door open.

I thought for sure someone would have posted thier saturdays photos of whatever car project they had going on but nothing. Seen lots of motorcycles out but havent seen any vintage tin. At least not yet.

Here ya go...
Fabbed up a clutch MC mount, and smoothed & cleaned up the whole area where the steering column passes through the firewall.
The tunnel work looks great Derek! Same with the clutch bracket. Was that an imagineered piece, or did you pattern it after something?

Came up with it on my own after not liking the way a cheap aftermarket bracket didn't seal off the firewall where the rod passes through... I always thought that part of the firewall was ugly anyway, so I decided to make it smoother and cleaner looking, but without drawing attention to it either like some of the aftermarket billet stuff out there.

Cool! Looks like 1/8" flat-stock & a piece of 4" square tube that's angle sliced?

I got the motorcycles out and ready to go, but still need to finish the rear end and get it back in the Chevelle. Looks nice all week, so I took Thurs & Fri. off from work. Hopefully I can make lots of progress between all the jobs around the house I'm supposed to finish.

Chris-that was my original EFi conversion Holley TB unit on the right-that's a bit bigger huh?
I finished up my trailer project friday night, mopped my garage floor (cause I can) putzed around out there for a while. Bought a portable basketball hoop and put it together.

Looks like all the nice cars are starting to come out. The Wagners drive-in down the street looked like a car show, the entire lot was full of vintage tin. Seen a nice 71 SS roll past our place in orange/white stripes that must have been leaving the "show".

Spent the 10th thru the 16th in Orlando. Plenty of scooters down there. I didn't see many older vehicles on the road this time. I went to Don Garlit's Museum of Drag Racing on the 14th. I'll get some pics up soon.

Testing...testing... Is this thing on? What a dead day on the forum. Guess it's because I was travelling on business today.
Or, everyone's trying to beat the CAC clock and working on their cars!

Was takeing the winter off from messing with the 65 this year. Got it out Sunday and put it up on the lift for an oil change etc. Next thing you know back in the Cars Apart Club. Had a couple of small leaks, didn't like the looks of a couple of other things. Took a bunch of stuff off and ordered some parts today. I'm such a donkey some days!

Got the replacement fuel gauge for the Chevelle today, so I installed it tonight. Will need to add more gas since it's just over 1/2 a tank, and we went for a cruise last Sunday that I thought it used more than that. I'll add 10 gallons and see where it goes from there.
Then hope to fix the radio holes in the dash this weekend to install the dummy AM radio. Sounds like the weather isn't going to be the best Sat., so might as well work in the cave.
