I will be doing the B-body front disc brake concersion and looking for recommendation on what setup spring / shock / coil over w/shock to use with the LS1 engine?
Would like it to be able to handle, cruise around but not have my teeth chatter every time over bumps.
I have a 1-1/8" front sway bar from a z28 to use also.
Thanks,
John

Tony H took a B-body brake conversion off his '72. Did you buy it ? There are issues with the outer tie rod ends being different than the A body ends and some alignment peculiarities too, I think. I would stay with an A body single piston conversion to make life easier.

John.. I ran 500 lb springs in the front with koni classics...Like we talked about this will work fine for most oeople on a driver..autocross and road racing might require more advanced setups ..thats also more $$$$...Ill send you the setup instructions with suggested alignment specs later..Im at work now

So far I am leaning towards a 450 lb spring with the lighter LS1.

Pondering jumping into some coil overs.
