Major thrash session in the southern 'burbs yesterday... installation of a front disc brake kit, ball joints, new tie-rod ends, and lowering the front-end about an inch.
(BTW, to not disappoint y'all, picture #1 is there on purpose. It was the 1st picture to be taken. And it was about 9am - so no extra "shmutz" from you guys!! )
There were a few stumbling blocks. One spindle needed a little "clearancing" for the caliper mount to fit, and the mfg. left a burr on the shoulder where the spindle nut threads end - preventing the outer bearings from sliding on.
(This nearly caused a total work stoppage - without a mic or vernier available we couldn't determine if the shaft was mis-machined (diameter) or what. Dashboard saved the day with a gentle tap on the bearing with a socket. This sheared off the burr and the bearing went on! )
Nothing that some "shadetree ingenuity" couldn't solve.
Odd. The color rending in those pictures makes Chads car look orange.. Mohave gold photographs really weird in different light.

There's getting to be so many '72s in the club, it's hard to keep track.

The only color we saw all day was flat black, looking up from the on your back position, but you guy’s know that. Johns correct some of the pictures look a little risky but they where posed for effect, safety really was paramount.
Best of all, Shawna is not only a exceptional photographer she is also an excellent cook; we where well feed all day.
Hope the car stops!
