Hmmm... life's all about choices, right? If I chose the 'vert, I'd be choosing to be divorced, broke, and living in a van down by the river!

Also interesting that their website has it listed for $24,995 and reduced to $22,995....?

Yeah, it's a totally SS badged Malibu. Even has the chrome Malibu strips on the rocker panels. That's a car that should have been left a Malibu and leave it at that. But... it IS a convertible, so it has that going for it!
Oh, did I mention '71 is my favorite year Chevelle?

Maybe that's the final cost after all the additional fees the craigslist ad mentions.....
Tina wouldn't throw you out over just 1 more car. I've heard that before too and managed to get by with 5 cars a car hauler truck and trailer, not to mention the boat, 2 snowmobiles, 1 Harley and a semi... You can refer her to me as a bad example and that you ONLY want 1 more.

Front me a "bird-dog" fee, and I'll send Sammy over to check it out - it's only about 45 mins. from her school...

It's gone... CL ad's been pulled, and it's off the dealer website now.
I called the dealership and asked why it went from $24K to $22K to $15K, and he told me that they had it too long and needed to get rid of it.
I called the morning after Chris posted this as I was seriously considering doing something on it, and the dealer told me someone had it on hold for that afternoon to come look at it. Then the buyer came back yesterday and picked it up.
From the pics and the way the dealer described it to me, that was a steal for the money. That would go for $18-$20K around here all day long IMO.

Not like I needed it, but it would have been a great Chevelle to have. I don't normally search CL that far away, but may have to now. Or maybe not, so that I don't get myself into more trouble!
Sweep dash w/ SS badging, and the "alloy" 5-spoke steelies too!
Looks like a nice 71 vert for 15K.
