What is the best method for squaring the first tire?

Toe just needs to be close before doing the camber/caster adjustment because you'll need to adjust it last anyway.
I usually just eyeball it to the rear tires and put a piece of tape on the steering wheel to mark the center so that it doesn't confuse me if the wheel is a bit crooked while figuring out the caster.
You should have let me know you were going to be doing this, I could have brought my turntables up to the meeting.

I have a pair of old tables I borrowed from a friend... It just the getting one wheel straight as a point of reference to start from... Ive heard of a string method and thats about it..
