For Christmas I got my 9 year old a electronic tuner for his guitar. It was bad enough listening to him practice and then out of tune even worse. So I picked a Snark tuner at a local music store for $22 and it clips on the headstock with an non marring clip. Two weeks ago Aaron said it just won't stay on and it is broken. Never sent in tha warranty card and don't have the box but still have the receipt. Emailed the company and the Customer Service contact replied send it back and they will look at it. They sent a brand new one out to Aaron and it came Sat while I was at the meeting. My wife thought it was a waste of time sending it back in for being so cheap. Plus according to the web site that was not covered under warranty. So I have to give a thumbs up to that company for going above and beyond PLUS THEY PAID SHIPPING!!!!

I gotta give kudos to the Isanti John Deere dealer. The battery on my tractor died for the second time and the machine is roughly 5 years old. They told me the battery was only warrantied for 3 years but I brought it in to them to make sure. I called later and they did confirm it was only 3 years and they would prorate it for what was left. I told them no thanks after having two of there batteries go bad I'll get one somewhere else. About a 1/2 hour later they called back and said they are going to replace it for me for free.

Thats good to hear, that green costs so much more to start and parts are insane from the dealer.

At most manufacturing companies I have worked at, service parts are the highest profit area in the company. Margins usually run from 50-200%! As consumers, we pay for it to get it. That's why the aftermarket and 'will fitters' do such good business with cheap parts that we buy because sometimes we are 'cheap'.
It's good to hear of a dealer that took care of you Chris.
