That's the plan. One set of red rims (I have two sets of original rims)for the dogs dish caps and one set of black rims for the full wheel covers. One set of original style redline tires and one set of redline radials. Just can't decide which rims with original style tires.
Thinking about going with radial relines from diamond back tires, with the red rims and dog dish caps.

For those of us who are ignorant of the differences (read that ME)... what IS the difference between the painting on '66 and '67 doggy dishes??

66 have a black semi-gloss center section with chrome bow-tie and a blackish/gray rib area. 67's have a black bow-tie and chrome center section and the rib area is a light gray. Otherwise they start out the same, stainless with a flash chrome. 65's have a similar type hubcaps; but quite a bit different.
Finaly got around to finishing the repaint. Then raked leaves and took the car for a short ride.
4 caps freshly painted and 1 original cap. And a close up of a repaint.
