After getting the Year One email, I decided to check their site. I will need a left side trunk pan when my quarter gets replaced and they have a seven piece trunk pan kit for $360. ($252 after discount) OPG has it on sale for $443 and Ausley's has is for $229, Chevelles-r-us has is for $239, Ground Up has is for $220.
Why the large price difference? I'm thinking that Year One and OPG sell American made panels and the others are China junk. Is this correct? Is there that much of a difference in the parts for that much of a price difference? I mean one place sells it for double the other. Any ideas, comments?

Everything I've ever gotten was from Taiwan. I'm not aware of any truck kits made here. Maybe Canadian parts ?? I do have an older pan for my Camaro that is from Canada. You can get all those pieces individually too. No need to buy the whole kit. In fact, if the '64 is the same as a '66, I may be willing to sell you that piece out of the kit I have. I'm seriously considering getting the one piece trunk floor complete.

Seems there is always issues people have with mail order companies now. Year One is typically more costly and if you want to know where the product came from or who made it, YO refuses to tell you. I personally had issues with that when I talked to them and told them, no thanks. But thats just me and may not bother anyone else. I have ordered from OPG before and it always seemed that something was on backorder, which never bothered me either since I always ordered during the off season when the car was in storage. The trunk kit I have actually was ordered from OPG. Been sitting in the box for over 10 years now just waiting to get installed.
