I got a call a couple hours ago from a person I didn't know. He explained that he saw my name listed as a new member of MSRA in the Line Chaser. He lives a short ways from me and is moving to Oregon soon. He said he had some Back to the 50's posters on his garage walls that he didn't want to drag out there but didn't want to throw away either....was I interested in them ? HUH ?? yeah, sure. He even drove over here in his SWEET '64 Impala SS and DELIVERED them. He had a poster from every year from '92 to '10 except 01 and participant buttons from most years too. Now I gotta get some aluminum frames for them so I can hang them in the shop. Talk about "out of the blue". He saw I had 3 Chevs listed and lived near him, so I am the recipient of this gift.

Very cool. I dig all that old stuff. I still have the original posters from Bench Racing Sunday that was at Friendly. (Warren Johnson signed one for me). I also have a couple of the old screen printed show "posters" from Main Motors stashed. Need frames for those.
