That seems just a wee bit excessive for a 3 year old.
I'm not getting into karts at least until AFTER the Chevelle is back together (won't say finished )
Used race-ready offset karts with clone engines can be bought for ~$800 and they're a fun locally competitive class without much for expenses to maintain (new engine =$100, tires last 2-3 seasons, etc...)
Something like this, just have to find one local.
BTW, Jenna nixed making an offer on the house by the kart track... at least until ours is sold.
While typing this reply, my realitor called to schedule a showing of our house... first one in about 6 months. Fingers crossed...
