You guys should have seen the buick I used to have. Many quick fixes including a ball valve in a heater hose to control the heat. Use the window to cool off if you got too hot. That worked well until the passenger side window regulator separated form the glass. To fix that, I wedged a 2x2 in the door shell to hold the glass up then used metal strapping to hold that from moving. With the trim panel back on, you couldn't tell. The exhause fell off, so I rigged something up from Champion's clearance section. When it was broken into, I just riveted flashing over the now missing driver's door lock hole and used the passenger side power lock button and walked around. Once that broke, I just slid over. The final straw was when it wouldn't start one very cold February. I had AAA, so they towed it to the nearest Amoco where I called Chris P and left it for the night. The next day I went back with the title and gave it to the cashier for free. It got a flat tire on the 2 mile trip and the tranny was almost shot. I only paid $300 or so for it.
