You know those really old cars you see at shows with the look-alike trailer behind them? Wouldn't that look cool behind my Chevelle??? Crazy, I know.

I can see it now.......remove the front clip and entire suspension. Cut the crossmember out, bring the frame rails together for the receiver...is this what you need the rear axle for ???

You need a front-end gone, floor rotted '72 Elky!! With one of these 1/2 the work is done for you... Saw off the roof, cut the rockers at the B-pillar, junk the cab and instant trailer w/ tailgate!

I love the idea but not only is the floor gone...the quarters and bed are too! I know Jamie has a picked up a few other parts Elky's for his 72. He might have one better suited as a starting point for such a project.

Someone out there sells a small fiberglass teardrop trailer that would probably look descent. They arent much bigger then those little motorcycle trailers you see sometimes.

He needs something bigger to haul his race tires and tools to the track in. The old 4 door is already enclosed. Seal off the holes in the firewall, remove the seats and wha-la.....enough room to use as a camper up at Brainard with the rest in the trunk.....

That is not a bad idea Mitch but I already have a lot of parts removed so that won't work now.
