Going to look at a 396/ 961 2 bolt block tomorrow.  Guy says block is free of cracks/ repairs, and is good to go, will need to be bored.  Also has a couple of sets of 3/8" and 7/16" dimple rods.  And 23 cranks, of which some are the forged 6223.  This is not the guy that pulled the ad on craigslist.

What do you think the bare block is worth?  What about a good set of dimple rods?  And the 6223 crank?
