There is a post on Team Chevelle about Ipods and one response claims there is a device that will let you convert cassette tapes and even record albums to your computers digital format. Ive never heard of this and have several tapes in storage that would be great to upload onto my PC. I have been slowly replacing tapes with the CD at used record stores at 4 bucks or less, but some of my tapes have been out of print for years.
John and Pushrod. You guys are ex audio guys. How is this possible?

I recently found a device that would allow me to take mini camcorder tapes and capture them digitally to burn to DVD's at Best Buy called a Dazzle. It takes S-video, or RCA cable inputs. I bet they have a similar device for just audio.

I have a cd burner that you can input any device, ie: turn table, cassettes, etc, into a cd if that would help. I don't think you would get the digital audio you have on a computer transferring anything to either cd or mp3 or similar format.
