I thought he was real happy with it. He put on over 2K miles in about 2 months when he bought it from me. I tried to get him to join the club a few months ago (even offered a free calendar since it is in it this year).
Didn't know that it had an M22 though... it had the M20 that I bought from Tim H. and Bungie rebuilt. Maybe just a typo.

I've never seen a Chevelle or any other car without a flaw or two. Anyone here have one of those? I'd like to see one someday.
Stan, When I sold you that tranny it was a M20-too I have a M22 to. I guess that's a to-to.

Is he making or losing money on it, Stan? That seems like a fair asking price.

And when I rebuilt it, it was a M-20. Maybe he changed it or just thinks it's a M-22?

He'd be making a couple hundred bucks from what I sold it at.

Actually... I found a pay phone in the St. Louis, MO airport a few weeks ago. I needed to call a number that only had the letters listed, like 1-800-BUYPARTS and I couldn't figure out the numbers since my Blackberry doesn't have a 'normal' keypad. So, I found a pay phone and deciphered the phone number from it's alpha numeric keypad!
But you're right. Gone are the days of a payphone at every gas station. That used to be the travelling salesman's mobile office phone.

Talked to the guy that bought my green Chevelle this a.m. He's only got it up for sale if he gets a good offer. Doesn't have to sell it, but he's wanting more of a cruiser since the green machine IS a handfull when you give it some reign!
He's already put 600 miles on it this year and put 3000 miles on last Fall, so he IS driving it!
He's done a few things to it like front disc brakes, alignment, brake lines, etc. But nothing to the drivetrain. Still priced right IMO.
I told him about our Anoka meeting/cruise-in so maybe he will show up. He's a cool guy to talk to.

Not sure what he's looking for. Do you have an Impala for sale? I can give him your email address if you want him to contact you.

No Impala for sale yet. Have a 67 327 SS (all original) that I drove from Portland OR. to Denver then to here when I got it and I was amazed how nice it was to drive on a long trip and around town. The engine is out now and want to rebuild the engine and put back together. The origianl owner is constatly contacting me to buy it back. Have a '59 that is nice too, but dose not ride like the '67. Here is link to '59 do not know if we would sell it. Do not see to many of them around and they are cool as hell from a design perspective. May consider it, but I would want a lot for it.
