"Carnutz70" He was a club member a couple years ago... I had talked to him about doing some work on my T56, but wasn't really ready to do it yet then. Now that I'm ready, he's the only guy I know who works on them, but I can't remember his name.
I found his email address digging through old posts on the "old" NCC forum, but I'd feel wierd contacting him without remembering his name. Anyone remember his name or have his phone number?
Thanks!

Yes, his name is Matt.
We have a member in the Camaro club that has changed the input shafts on T56's. If that is all you want done to use the adaptor plate, Aaron could do it too or even talk you thru it. It really isn't difficult.

He was talking about upgrading the 3-4 fork and installing billet keys... somewhat cheap upgrades to help with the durability of the trans.
Thanks guys!

Oh, that's right, you have an LS1 and correct bellhousing. I'm thinking swapping into an older application with 621 bell....
Matt only lives about 5 miles from me, if I can help "relay" it along...

Cool, I'll call him later today.
I'm hoping to be done using it for mock-up by next weekend, so I'm hoping I can finally start getting some of the work done by others taken care of while I work on the firewall, tunnel, dash, etc.
