Hope it will be done for rockfalls, depends on when he can update the chassis, Hoping to run 8.00s, Just recertifed my drivers license, Dont want to put it together and find out its way below 8.50 because they will yell at me, Not the first time. Dont want to have to take car back apart, Updating more for safety factor if anything,

C-16 sounds like bomb making material. He said it would run on pump gas if I just let it idle.

All that aluminum just shows what a light weight he is. ;) So on the weekends you do what give a kid in his Honda an 1/8 mile head start in the 1/4 and take his money?

Anyone want to guess the weight of the whole car w/driver?

I'm going to say 2600lbs... but only because I asked last year at Rock Falls, and if my memory is any good (which it's not) he said somewhere around 2400 for the car.

I was told it weighs 2300lbs with driver, After I get the engine in I am going to bring it to my friends work and weight it on there scale. Keep going to do it and never do. I lost 35lbs over the winter and that should help, I know I will fit in the seat better, a little snug last year.

Wow. I think a Mini Cooper weighs more then that. Are all the body panels steel?

only steel is the roof and rear quarters, Rest is fiberglass, They did a great job on panel alignment, Most people dont think it is fiberglass.

Heres what I did on mothers day, Installed engine and headers to mock up before it go's to fabicator, Putting vac pump on this engine and not much room in there, Had to reverse alternaor to fit, Need to make some brackets. Bought 10 gallons of C16 for $16.00 a gallon, Not cheap.

$16 a gallon does lighten the wallet up quickly! Well as Tony Hoffer says it's only money you'll make more.
Here is a pic of the new engine going in my chevelle, If 997hp and 810 ft lbs dont work the 250 shot may help. Trying to get car certified for 7.50
Wow, that's nice
SWEEEEEET!!!
