I will be heading to my favorite place to escape and pick up some stuff for my never ending scrounging and wondering if anyone else is interested?

I was going to do the same as I am looking for ideas for a console but I finished my day pulling the rear-end out.

Darren,
There are plenty of ideas for consoles. I would look at camaros and newer Pontiacs, like Bonneville, Grand Am, Grand Prix. Grab the console, floor shift assy w/ shifter cable. The price should be around $30. With a little work I even made the seats and console from a Chrysler Concorde work as it fit better.
In my last couple of trips, I scored a set of vortec heads for $86 complete with valve covers, Trailblazer full power leather seats (front and back) for around $70 and a G80 posi rear axle assembly for my trailblazer for a whopping $86 complete.

Dang, that looks alright in there! Thanks for the suggestions in what to look at. I would rather make one work than make one!

IOf you guys are ever at a yard when I am at work, I can help translate a VIN for you to see if there's the right option on something as long as it's 1990 or newer. aka: G80 is locking diff. gear rations, engines, etc all are easy pickings for me. Ask for BF when you cann, we have several bryans.
