I have my 70 Camaro in the body shop now.  They are doing the small amount of body work, but are also blocking and sanding the whole car.  This means I could do a color change.  The current color is black with white rally stripes.  I recently saw a camaro that was hugger orange with black stripes.  Now I am torn?  Go black?  Or go period correct with the hugger.  I think that color will grab a lot of attention...
What is your vote?

Stay with the black. (I'm biased, yes...) It'll be a bytch to keep clean, and every little thing will show under scrutiny, but the lines of the 70 are gorgeous in black. A little chrome here and there, the right wheels and you've got a Tuxedo on wheels - just classy.

One of my uncles had a 70 and his was a gold with black stripes and I thought that looked nice.

I voted orange.. But Ill say Yellow with black stripes is hot. see transformers movies.

I voted orange. Shannan and I debate the colors for the Chevelle on occasion and we're currently thinking hugger orange with black stripes. We could change our minds in the years between now and when it will actually get painted!

I forgot to throw in one caveat. If black is the original color I would vote for it otherwise I still vote orange.

I vote Orange.

I also vote black. Especially if its black already. Unless your going to strip all the old paint off, going from black to a bright color isnt as easy as it sounds.

I like Red & Black or Black & Red. Orange is very nice with the black stripes. It really makes a statement and will draw attention. If you want more bling then the Orange is the way to go.

  Orange with white stripes, white stripes will make the orange stand out more. But you are going to need the Camaro five spoke steel gray rally wheels.

  But then, that Camaro looks great in black with white stripes. 

Orange with red stripes will stand out from the crowd as it blends into the background. Think about that

'70 Chevelle Fathom Blue Metallic with Pearlescent White stripes.

Black, but you need a 2" rise cowl hood.
