Scott will chime in when he gets a chance I'm sure, but he was pretty jazzed about it. I think his was after SEMA actually happened, though.

Ya that was a cool deal. The cars that were invited were at the SEMA show all week (displayed together) and then we all ran at the track on the Saturday after SEMA. I hope to be invited back- it's not easy to get into that event and I'm honored to have been invited in 2009. The 2010 version will be televised in March (also on SPEED). There were some cool Chevelles there this year, but none of them were wagons (LOL!).
I really hope Derek and I can both make it for 2011. It'd be great to attend with him, and his new LS/6-speed drivetrain will surely make him a contender. I've made a few upgrades too, but I feel more seat time will be my wisest investment. (That, and some stickier tires..LOL!)

My biggest goal with my car is to get invited to OUSCI. I need some experience on the big tracks if I want to do well at it though...
Scott, seat time is the biggest thing you need right now. I'd recommend signing up for the MAC autocross Novice School April 16 & 17 (attending both days is required). Registration for it opens at midnight Feb 16th, and will likely be sold out in less than 24 hours. I'll keep you posted. BTW, some of the instructors are top SCCA autocrossers with several national trophies.
