My 62 inch big screen Mitsubishi crapped out with a common problem Mitsu has had with thier TVs for years. I did a bunch of research on what could be causing a flashing green light on it and it seems to be a problem with several capacitors that are soldered into 2 different circuit board modules. I am planning to remove these capacitors and replace them myself.
Are there any local electronics dealers out there that carry good quality capacitors to buy from or should I find an online dealer to get these from instead? Already thinking about Radio Shack and Micro Center in St. Louis Park.

Microcenter would be a better choice, though I don't know if they carry stuff beyond computers. There's a place on the north side of Mpls, but I forget their name. I think it might be only wholesale too. John D might know better.

You would probably be better off to order them from Digi key or Mouser on line.

I second that idea.
If Digi-Key doesn't have it, it's a custom part and you probably won't be able to find it or will pay through the nose.

Micro Center doesn't handle any "board-level" components. Radio Shack is limited to pretty common values, and lower voltage (5, 16, 25V) components.
I'd try AEI. They're on Hwy 55 & Douglas Dr. They've got a good selection of board-level components (new).
If AEI doesnt' have them, you can try ABC Electronics. (Map) They're near Target Field, where Hwy 55 dumps into downtown at the incinerator. ABC has TONS of stuff, but it's like AxMan on steriods - you'll have to search - it's self service.
