Me and Michele left last last weekend for our honeymoon in Hawaii. Departed last night, saturday at 10:30PM, which is 3:30am central time and at nearly 24 hours of catching 3 planes and hours of layovers in San Fransisco and Seattle. We are finally home and im beat big time but the trip was a trip of a lifetime. Swam with dolphins, snorkeled with marine life, visited Pearl Harbor and Hawaii's Northshore where all the big surfing waves, I also swam in the ocean for the first time ever and the water is always warm enough not to shock you when you go in. Try getting that with a lake in Minnesota. I also found out that cell phones are trash when you swim in salt water with them in your pocket. Good thing mine was a cheap POS outdated phone. I plan to get an Iphone I have been planning to get for a while now. We also watched the monday AFTERNOON football game at a bar nearby. That game started at 3PM in Hawaii. There were quite a few cheering on the Vikings actually. Its like 85 degreese every day there with no humidity and a nice breeze like all year around.
Sea sickness is one of the worst feelings you could ever get and it took me a day to be 100% again after our dolphin trip on a catamaran. I saw some amazing places that I could go on and on about but thats just too much typing when you have been up for over 24 hours flying from airport to airport to airport.
I also got to meet Darren (user name Cameano), another Team Chevelle member who gave me and Michele a tour of the island for an afternoon of all the cool places that the tours never take you. We took him out to dinner and he took us to a good place the locals go and the prices were good. So was the food.

Welcome home Chris. Great place to visit, even greater if you go in Jan, Feb from Minnesota. Glad you had a great time, there is a lot to see.

Welcome back, sounds like you had fun. Yeah, I still get a little seasick the first night on cruises, never been to Hawaii. I want to go but the long flight is a killer.

Welcome back Chris! Was there in about 1979, always wanted to get back. Darrin is a cool guy, met him in Nashville a couple of years ago.
