Brian, is there a meeting tomorrow night at Fudrucker's per the website events page?
Been real quiet on here about it if there is. Sorry if I missed a post about it...
I plan on making it since I have to work late tomorrow night and my new job isn't far from St. Louis Park.

big meeting wednesday at fuddruckers
better?
yeah, been a little quiet about it, but having a regular place is nice, but yes, it can get forgotten about. Starting in October, we'll be having some at-shop meetings.

I left Toro a month ago for various reasons. I'm now at Datacard Group in Minnetonka as the mechanical parts Commodity Mgr. (Basically a Purchasing Mgr. with a team of Buyers). Datacard makes electromechanical equipment that manufacturers credit cards, gift cards, and passports worldwide. Seems to be a good change so far. All the mfg. is in Minnetonka and they recently brought back production from China which is a nice change!

Soooooooooo, looks like Fuddruckers closed. I got there and Rick, Stan, Chris, Ian, and Lori were all there waiting in an empty lot. We ended up moving the meeting over to Perkins just over 394 and next to the Menards there. They had a nice meeting room and I think it would be a good place for meetings again. The main table fit 12 or so plus there was extra tables to fit a total of 24 in the room.
While waiting for anyone else to arrive so they could be guided to Perkins, Chris R and I peeked into the windows. There were still beers on shelves in and out of cases, their carpets were still outside, they had a Citypages delivery never opened, their outdoor table umbrellas were still out with the back gate open, there was a neon sign still on, and the fresh baked cookies were still in the bakery racks. Looks like a fast close with probably no notice. The dry erase board read "closed-private party" which was probably the employees-only last hurrah.
Next meeting is at Powdercoating Technologies, and the one after that is being arranged this week.
Meeting minutes will be posted soon.
